Fax & Faxmail with Northland Connect

A Northland Connect Fax line gets you your very own dedicated fax service.  You can choose to simply use the Northland Connect Faxmail service to send and receive faxes from your PC or you can connect your traditional fax machine to an ATA and use it to send and receive your faxes.  You can also use our Faxmail service to receive any faxes missed by your fax machine.

Easy to use

A fax line can be added to your Northland Connect VoIP service for only $10 per month.
Northland Connect fax service uses the T.38 – the ITU defined standard for sending fax across IP networks in real time.  Using T.38 enables Northland Connect to deliver fax with high levels of transmission reliability.

Faxmail only

You don’t need any special equipment to send and receive faxes – all you need is a computer.

When you sign up to Northland Connect VoIP services one of our friendly Sales Consultants will ask you if you would like to use our Faxmail service.   If yes, our Sales Consultant will ask for your email address which will send and receive your faxes.   

We do the setting up of your Faxmail service and will give you a phone call once your Faxmail service is active.

Traditional Fax + Faxmail

If you wish to connect a traditional fax machine to Northland Connect you will need a T.38 capable device (like an ATA).  This device will need to be configured with our settings.
Once connected your fax machine will send and receive faxes as usual

You can use our Faxmail service to collect any faxes missed by your fax machine – such as when it doesn’t answer or is busy.
